Peggy Sharp's entry for 'weathered' is called "Back in Time". It is amazing how great minds think alike, I too took this photo but didn't submit it because I couldn't find the right angle. Good job Peggy, I like your perspective much better!
"Old Well House" is Bill Stephens entry to the 'weathered' competition.
"Cool & Green" by David Stiles, a Class B participant. Funny, I was with David and his wife Patricia the day he took this and I didn't see this view. We had gone to the BalloonFest in Tahlequah last year and it was a bust, the balloons didn't fly because of the low ceiling of fog and clouds.
"Jake" by Haskell Stephens, a Class B participant.
Olivia Walton is a new member this year who is in Class B. This is a new category that we've started this year, it's called "Out of the Camera". You are allowed to only 'crop' a photo, no photoshopping or any type of corrections are allowed. Their is no Class A or B distinction for this category.
We had a very successful meeting last night. . . and the computer and projector actually worked!!! Stay tuned, I'll post the dates for our upcoming photoshoots and other info from the meeting. Check back tomorrow and that should get posted with tomorrow's photo.
Last Friday Margaret Brown, James & Betsy Edwards, Robert Atchley and I taught the 2nd installment of Photography 101 to the Wildlife Management Class. Our assignment for the class was to go out to the schools greenhouse and take some photos of the blooming flowers.
Class A participant Mandy Lundy's entry "New Years Sunset".
Tomorrow night at 6:30 we have our monthly meeting at the library. Robert Atchley is going to speak about his love, nature photography. I know that he has some new and exciting photos to share with us.
