Yvonne Meyers is in Class B, her entry is simply titled "Winter". How appropriate is this photo? This is exactly what we are experiencing here in Muskogee now, only this photo is from a previous year. Boy I'm getting tired of this ice stuff!
"Peek-a-boo" by Mandy Lundy, a Class A entry for this year.
We scouted out the Graham Carrol House last Friday for our late February photoshoot. Everyone that is participating should bring their cameras, flashes and reflectors to the 6:30 meeting on February 10th. We'll practice using some off camera flash and using reflectors.
This will be the last week of the "Best of the Best". Then y'all will have to just suffer through with what is the start of a new year!:))
This is Cliff Moore's "Eagle Eye" entry in Class A.
This is the last Class B entry we have, "Snake" by Becky Carlton.
As many of you may know, or not know, I've just returned from the annual Miss Rodeo USA Pageant in Oklahoma City. We have a new queen, her name is Jamie Virden, from Ellensburg, Washington. You can read about her at: http://www.missrodeousa.typepad.com/pageant/
I doing this entry early due to my leaving to go to the Miss Rodeo USA pageant in Oklahoma City tomorrow.
Cliff Moore's Class A entry "Quiet Moment".
Be sure and look at the next couple of photos. I took these on the way home last night just before our monthly Shutterbug Club meeting. My better half, Debra spotted this eagle along the road about 1/2 mile from the house. Kind of funny, we'd gone over to Greenleaf State Park on Saturday during a Eagle Watch day and didn't see a thing except some really big crows. Oh well. . .
Cliff Moore creatively called this Class A entry "What are you looking at?"
Next week the Shutterbug Club meets at the library Tuesday night at 6:30 for our monthly meeting (January 13th). The first 45 minutes will be a class about "YOUR camera, how does it work?" Bring your camera and manual and let's see what we all can learn.
Opps! I was going to put this up last night and we had company come by and I forgot. Jo Ann Godfrey's entry "Cape Cod Windmill" in Class A seemed to fit Jason D. Moore's theme so I entered it there on his blog.
