This is Robert's photo from last weekend when we were at Sequoyah Wildlife Preserve south of Vian, OK. This photo was taken after all the other photographers had left because the birds had moved to far off the road to be photographed.
Robert and I decided to go back down the road for one last look. All of a sudden the birds did a final move before sunset and they all started to fly over the top of the road in front of us. We hurried to where they were right on top of us and for the next 20 minutes or so we took photo after photo until the light wasn't right any more.
