It's that time again to support one of our supporters, Jason D. Moore Photography. Be sure and go to his blog and see all of the Letter "Q" photos.
Every picture should tell a story. . . Guess where this is? When I was back in Nebraska I went out to the corn harvest and spent two days on a combine for the first time. Grew up and lived in Nebraska for 23 years and really didn't know much about harvest.
The following photos show the process of going from the combine to the grain bins. Be sure and page through the next page, there are two pages of photos.
Chad saw the camera around my neck as I walked up to the combine and decided the windshield needed cleaning if I was going to take any photos.
The corn is off loaded from the combine on the fly. The process doesn't stop for anything.
As you can see, the process doesn't stop for nightfall. The weather doesn't always cooperate so they go until they finish the field and that may be late into the night.
